Portfolio Night

8th grade Portfolio Night will be held on Thursday May 17, 2012 from 5: 00 to 6:30ish.  We begin in the auditorium, then parents and guests will join their student in one of many classrooms for the presentations, followed by refreshments and memories in the cafeteria.

All 8th grade students are expected to attend this “showing off” of what they have accomplished their last two years at Slavens. Each student may invite up to 5 guests (no younger siblings, please) for their presentation.

Parent volunteers will be needed in advance to: 1)  make silhouettes of each students, 2) help  organize decorations and refreshments, and 3) help with set-up and clean up.  Contact Mrs. Du Houx if you are able to help with any of these jobs for this important event.
